UPDATE: The Community Grants Program funding for 2012-2013 has now been announced. The outcomes for Organisational Support, Building and Facilities Improvement, Strengthening Multicultural Communities, the Educational Program, Multicultural Festivals and Events categories, as well as through the Unity Through Partnerships grants are now available. A letter to all successful and unsuccessful grant applicants is being sent out. Cultural Precincts and Community Infrastructure Fund Promoting harmony: Multifaith and InterfaithProvides funding to projects that bring that bring together different faith and community groups to promote social cohesion, understanding and acceptance among Victoria’s diverse faith communities and within the wider Victorian community.
Buildings and Facilities Improvement GrantsAssists ethnic community organisations to undertake minor upgrades or improvements to buildings and/or facilities that they own. Organisational Support GrantsProvides financial assistance for the general costs associated with running community organisations. Educational Program GrantsProvides funding support to out-of-hours ethnic schools within Victoria. Strengthening Multicultural Communities GrantsSupports community organisations to undertake projects that address the unmet needs of Victoria's CALD communities. Unity through Partnerships GrantsProvides funding of up to $100,000 for major multicultural festivals and events in Melbourne and regional Victoria. Multicultural Senior Citizens Organisational Support GrantsSupports ethnic senior citizens clubs to hold regular social and community strengthening activities.
