Helpline for Muslim Parents

A new Muslim Parenting Helpline will be launched next week.

An Islamicare initiative, the Helpline aims to support Australian Muslim families who are experiencing difficulties by providing experienced counsellors who can offer advice and professional referrals.

Families can receive support for a range of issues from inter-generational communication problems between parents and their teenage children, to more complex situations with children experiencing drug and alcohol abuse or getting into trouble with the law.

This website is designed to give parents ideas and suggestions about how to tackle these types of issues.

For more information visit the Islamicare website.

Muslim Parenting Helpline was launched on Monday 11 February 2017 – call free from anywhere in Australia by phoning 1800 960 009.
