Discover why people seek asylum
Have you ever wondered why people seek asylum? You can find out through the Red Cross In Search of Safety Program.
The innovative, interactive program aims to help break down misunderstandings and misconceptions around the issue by educating school students and community groups across Australia.
Delivered by trained Red Cross staff and volunteers, participants will learn about the reasons people seek asylum through thought-provoking presentations, group activities and enlightening stories shared by speakers who have first-hand experience of seeking and being granted protection in Australia.
The In Search of Safety program is open to primary schools, secondary schools/colleges, and community groups of all kinds: clubs, organisations, workplaces, communities and groups of any size. The sessions can also be customised if required.
For more information, you can fill out the enquiry form here, or contact your local Red Cross Office.
