The South Asian Building Fund (SABF) is administered by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship (OMAC), in partnership with Victoria’s South Asian communities.

The objective of the SABF is to promote greater use and access to community-owned facilities by Victoria’s South Asian communities.

The SABF complements the Cultural Precincts and Community Infrastructure Fund and the Building and Facilities Improvement Grants

Funding

The funding of $650,000 available under the SABF (2011-12) has been fully committed for the enhancement of existing community space owned by Victoria’s South Asian community organisations.
