With a catchment of around 1.67 million people, the North and West Metropolitan Region is the most heavily populated of the Government’s eight service delivery regions.

Its community comprises 31 per cent of Victoria’s population and is culturally diverse.

Melbourne CBD, inner, middle and outer urban areas - including four high-growth areas - lie within its boundaries. So do 11 of Melbourne’s 14 most disadvantaged municipalities.
