Migrant sexual health forum, La Trobe Valley - 1 September 2016

A forum with a focus on sexual health and migrant communities in the La Trobe Valley will be held in Moe on Tuesday 20 September.

Hosted by the Multicultural Sexual Health Network (MSHN), the forum is aimed at anyone who works with migrant and refugee communities, including community workers, social workers, GPs, nurses, education providers and settlement workers.

Topics covered at the forum will include, working with clients from refugee and migrant backgrounds, the role of the Hepatitis C Clinical Nurse consultant and domestic violence in refugee and migrant communities.

MSHN is a hub for information sharing, referral, enhanced service coordination and      multi-sectoral advocacy around  sexual health and blood borne viruses.

This is a FREE event and lunch will also be provided.
