Enter the 2017 Human Rights Photo Competition

Budding photographers are invited to share how they see human rights through their camera lens in the 2017 Human Rights Photography competition.

This year’s theme, ‘home’, was inspired by Eleanor Roosevelt’s famous quote, “Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home..."

Entries are now open in two categories, Under 18 and 18 & Over, and close on 30 September 2017.

Winners will receive Olympus OM-D Mark II camera kits valued at over $800, and two runners up in each category will receive a $100 voucher from Momento Photo Books.

A shortlist of photos, including the winning submissions, will be displayed at the 2017 Human Rights Awards on 8 December 2017 in Sydney.

Read the submission guidelines and submit your photo at the competition website or email queries to photocomp@humanrights.gov.au.
