Free workshops: choosing a Power of Attorney

The Office of the Public Advocate is holding free workshops on how to help older people understand the importance of choosing the right person as their Power of Attorney.

The two-hour workshops are suitable for community leaders, community educators, volunteers and workers who can engage with senior Victorians.

The training, named ‘Your Voice – Trust your Choice’ training, will provide resources and explore methods for engaging with seniors about what they need to consider before appointing a Power of Attorney.

Training will be held in the Office of the Public Advocate on Level 1, 204 Lygon Street, Carlton at the following times:

  • Wednesday 22 August 2018: 10am-12pm
  • Tuesday 4 September 2018: 10am-12pm

Places are limited so please register your interest on the Office of the Public Advocate website.
