Competition calls on teenagers to make videos for change

A competition to empower young people to take action on what they want to change is asking Australian secondary students to produce a video on an issue close to their hearts.

Sponsored by Network TEN and Platypus and powered by High Resolves,  Videos for Change challenges teenagers to get creative with a one-minute video on a social issue they are passionate about changing.

Four prizes of $3,000 are on offer for winning teams in the categories ‘Junior High Grand Prize’, ‘Senior High Grand Prize’, People’s Choice Award and Founders Award.

Winning videos will also have the chance to be showcased on Network Ten’s ‘The Project’ and a film festival for the project will be held at Telstra Theatre at Telstra Head Office, Sydney.

Videos for Change is a key part of the High Resolves Program which aims to provide high quality learning experiences for schools, universities and companies.
