New Resources for Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme

A range of new resources in a range of languages are available to help culturally and linguistically diverse organisations and communities understand Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme.

The Commission for Children and Young People has updated  A Guide for Creating a Child Safe Organisation to reflect learnings from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and provide more guidance about Child Safe Standards and creating a culture of child safety.

Two new information sheets translated into 15 languages give an overview of the Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme and a brochure about taking children’s safety seriously.

A new information sheet on significant neglect under the Reportable Conduct Scheme has also been developed to help organisations that are covered by the scheme to ensure they comply with it.
