New translated resources on breast cancer, asthma and palliative care

Victoria’s multicultural communities can now access more health information in their language with the addition of new resources to the Health Translations Directory.

Women can make more informed decisions about their breast health with the help of a new illustrated book, ‘Your Guide to Breast Health’

Asthma Australia has new translated community resources available in Arabic, Burmese, Chinese Dari, Dinka, Swahili, Vietnamese and Nepali. with information on what asthma is and how to live with it, what to do in case of an asthma attack and what your doctor needs to know about your asthma.

Palliative Care Victoria has recently added the Karen language to their range of bilingual “What is palliative care?” brochures.

The directory also holds thousands of other resources on a range of health issues.
