Nabaddoon (Peace - Seeker) explores the culture, landscape and nomad life of Somalia. The exhibition will feature the works of two renowned Somali artists Adam Jama Ganei and Abdiqadir Ahmed Barre, who have both been displaced from their homelands due to the prolonged Somali civil war. The exhibition will feature works by the painters, still photographs and traditional artefacts, including Koor, Barshi, tusbax, fandhaal, xeero, masaf, dhiil and babis, Haan, durbaan and qulac. The exhibition offers visitors a significant overview of the artist’s work and paint a picture of a landscape rich in beauty, colour and culture.
