VMC consultation in Craigieburn

The Victorian Multicultural Commission has invited the diverse communities in the local government area of Hume to have their say.

The Commission is holding a Community Consultation at the Hume Global Learning Centre in Craigieburn on Tuesday 28 February 2017 from 6.00pm to 8.30pm.

Community consultations are regularly undertaken by the Commission to gather information to inform strategic objectives and priorities, and to provide advice to government.

The consultation in Hume seeks the views of the many culturally diverse communities in the area on what matters most to them.

Feedback received from VMC Regional Advisory Council members, VMC community consultations and findings from VMC research indicated the the following themes would be important in Hume:

  • Employment
  • Public Safety
  • Transport
  • Young People

Consultation attendees are invited to make comments around these themes and have the opportunity to raise other issues of concern.

Key stakeholders will also be invited to attend to listen to your feedback.
